healthy easter basket

If you’re looking for some healthier ideas for your kiddos’ basket ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿงบ (aka candy withOUT artificial sugars, dyes or flavors), here are some things I got for McKenna’s this year!

From Trader Joes:

- All natural jelly beans with colors made from fruit & veggie sources that are SO GOOD! ๐Ÿ’

natural jelly beans

- candy coated chocolate peanuts (just like peanut M&Ms) but withOUT the artificial dyes & hydrogenated oils) ๐Ÿฅœ

m&ms

- milk chocolate w/ caramel bar (all natural and it’s me & Kenna’s favorite!) ๐Ÿซ

Then I added some non-candy items from Target including:
- a cute Easter book ๐Ÿ“–
- Easter design press-on nails ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿป
- Bunny bubble wand ๐Ÿ’ซ
- Putty in the shape of a carrot ๐Ÿฅ•
- bunny ears ๐Ÿฐ
- a card ๐Ÿ’“
-  a dino Beanie Boo ๐Ÿฆ–
- “coupons” she can redeem for fun stuff (like a movie night out, an afternoon at the park, a bike ride somewhere fun, etc) ๐Ÿฟ

They even had Easter egg scavenger hunt clues๐Ÿ”Ž(our favorite thing!) she can search for around the house to find her basket ๐Ÿงบ that we’ll put quarters or dollar bills in or scratch off tickets.

And of course we found plastic dinosaur eggs ๐Ÿฆ•๐Ÿ˜‚  for Kenna from the dollar store!

Then for our neighborhood Easter egg hunt, I’m filling eggs with a pack of Motts fruit snacks ๐Ÿ‡ which we love because they also have NO artificial colors or flavors and are made with real fruit & veggie juice.
